Based on our findings the relationship between maternal age and the possibility of a baby being born alive can be described in the following equation Possibility of pregnancy e 3-760017 - 0-912499 x mother s age Here e the correlation coefficient R2 . In the case of mothers under 20 years old the possibility of a baby being born alive was found to be 89 - 87 . For mothers age 20 - 29 the percentage was 86 -72 .
