JOURNAL OF SCIENCE, Hue University, N0 61, 2010ACUTE RESPIRATORY CHILDREN OF PRE- SCHOOLS IN HUE Nhu Phon, Nguyen Van of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue respiratory infection (ARI) is a common disease and is the highest cause of children under 5 years of age in many countries. In Vietnam, the program to prevent infection started in 1984, and aims to reduce the rate of acute respiratory children, and reduce mortality caused by this disease. However, acute respiratory attract much concern because the incidence of the disease is still high and affect the children. This study aims to identify the prevalence of acute respiratory infections in nusery schools in Hue city. A cross-sectional survey of 398 children attending in Hue city was conducted. Through research, we got the following results: (1) of acute respiratory infections within two weeks of the survey was , (2) of acute respiratory infections increased with age, (3) the prevalence of infections did not differ by . respiratory infections (ARI) are a common disease and causes for children under 5 years old in many countries.
