Hiện tại, phường Phú Thứ có 19 dự án quy hoạch đô thị. Sự thay đổi mục đích sử dụng đất do những dự án này có thể ảnh hưởng đến điều kiện sống của người dân và hiện trạng kinh tế xã hội của Phường Phú Thứ. Mục đích của đề tài là đánh giá tác động từ hiệu quả sử dụng đất của những dự án quy hoạch đô thị đến hiện trạng kinh tế xã hội của phường Phú Thứ. Economic structure reforms towards industrialization urbanization and modernization. Nowsaday Phu Thu has total of 19 urban planning projects. The changing of land use situation on these projects has influenced to residents living condition and social economic situation of Phu Thu ward. The general objective of the study is to assess the land use efficiency of urban planning projects to socio-economic situation in the Phu Thu ward - Cai Rang district - Can Tho City. The study was based on the data collection from field survey interview and record based on the questionnaires sheets from 117 local people management boards the People s Committee in the study area. The results of study showed that total capital was increased for almost people in the study areas but it was used incorrectly. These were the direct reasons for low investment labor was shift to work as workers or small business. Beside unemployment rate is increased due to low skill and education of local labour. Household facililies for urban life was increased but it was not improved for people in project incompleted areas. Average per-capita income got VND 13 millions after projects VND millions more than before planning and total local budget was also increased more than 10 times. Infrastructure communication in the study areas were improved after urban planning projects. The landscape was more beautiful and the economy of the planning areas was restructured in the direction of urbanization industrialization and modernization.
