The first experiment was set up to determine the period of time and methods for effectively weaning artificial food in rearing snakehead murrel larvae. The experiment was set up with 7 diet treatments. In the control treatment using live food Moina and trash fish . In the other diet treatments differed from the time weaning artificial food 10 17 and 24 after hatching day and weaning methods 10 or 20 amount of artificial food increase per day . After 5 weeks the results showed that the best survival and specific growth rate of fry fish were achieved for those weaned artificial food at 17 after hatching day with the replacing method which increased 10 amount of artificial food per day 64 7 and 8 89 day . The second experiment included 4 diet treatments. The control treatment fish was fed feed without attractant supplementation. The treatments 2 3 and 4 were fed diets adding 2 fish protein hydrolysate 2 squid liver oil or 2 earthworm liquid respectively. Results after 4 weeks experiment showed that fish protein hydrolysate supplied as attractants had significantly higher survival rate 79 3 and specific growth rate 8 89 ngày compared to the other diet treatments.
