Otitis externa is an inflammation or infection of the outer ear canal. It is usually associated with secondary bacterial and/or fungal infection of macerated skin and subcutaneous cellular tissue. Aim of the study is to isolate and identify species of bacteria in patients with clinical diagnosis of Acute Otitis Externa and to know the susceptibility of microorganisms to the antimicrobial drugs. This study involved 103 patients with otitis externa. |
