An anthropometric survey of female farm workers was conducted from the Mungeli district, in order to obtain information on the body dimensions, which may be used in ergonomic design of farm equipments. In present study different hand dimensions of right and left hand of 200 female agricultural workers have been collected. Four body dimensions and ten hand dimensions have been identified which were considered more useful for designing agricultural hand tools. | Hand anthropometry survey of female agricultural workers for design of gender friendly equipments
